For over 25 years, Susan Adler George has been adding exceptional value to her communities by implementing and conducting art-centered educational and cultural programs.

She has worked with all ages – from 3 – 73 with an astute ability to design and deliver socially and psychologically specific programming which always surpasses the expected outcome. Susan Adler George founded Through The Hands of Women, a gallery and shop where women artisans and artists received 60% profit - a significantly higher percentage than the going rate – in the hopes of creating a more viable profession for women in the Arts.

She is the Founder and Teacher of Create Visions© a multi-arts, semi-improvisational program for children as well as an Arts instructor at the after-school program, Fitness, Fun and Games. She also conducts team-building and creativity workshops for adults.

Susan is admired for infusing humor in both her art and her teaching. She uses bodily kinesthetic, poetry and stories she has written, while emphasizing how others feel when communicating with one another. She also celebrates the individual strengths of each participant in her classes. She finds great beauty in life and all its imperfections.

Currently, Susan is designing innovative cross-platform art programs, which are aimed at a parallel audience of children and adults and result in a multi-generational community.

She is also working on two large projects - one an installation centered around a Tee-Pee and found-object art and another is a historical account - in art and verse - about her exploration of her Jewish Heritage.

Susan volunteers on a regular basis for local nonprofits including Everyman Theatre and 1 to 2 times per year at the Carlsbad, CA Boys and Girls Club. She was also recently approved for an Artist membership at MOMA. (Modern Musuem of Art.)

This experience for Kelsie to join a theatre group with such professional credentials was made possible from her training with Miss Susan, as she and Kelsie have established a warm relationship.” Parent
